self Motivation Techniques with Self hypnosis

      Self motivation can be a very difficult process to achieve as we all are can be distracted or de-motivated by others or our own self doubts. Although we generally come into this world with all the enthusiasm of a child with dreams and ambitions, all too often negative feedback or small or large failures begin to take hold of our psychic perceptions of ourselves and abilities.

     Once these self destructive thoughts and associated behaviors take hold it is very hard to alleviate ourselves from these burdens and life proceeds in less than a totally self fulfilling manner. What can we do to rid ourselves of those shackles and move forward with fulfilling our dreams? While there may be a number of ways including counseling, prayer, friendly advice, using the buddy system, or finding a mentor to guide and motivate us, another proven method is self hypnosis to change negative thoughts to powerful positive thoughts.

    Thoughts drive, feelings or emotions, and feelings and emotions drive actions.  A negative thought will eventually end up as a negative action and vice versa. So always watch out what you are thinking about and try to keep it on the positive side. Unfortunately, it seems that human nature is to default to the negative and accept that easily as the truth but the positive side is harder and we tend not to buy into those positive thoughts as easily.

    Just think to yourself, I can never be a Great Public Speaker or good at some other endeavor and see how easily it slides down. Now think I can and will be "XYZ" and it may not be as easy to accept. Usually, the only difference between your ability to be a Great Public Speaker is practice and training. It is not impossible unless you don't have a voice but it does take some motivation to do the work necessary.

   With this said, self hypnosis can be used to get you over the negative hurdle and provide the motivation to pay the dues to reach your goal. The mind is the engine and our consciousness/sub-consciousness are the drivers. Each has a role and we need to drive instead of wander. Self hypnosis can be an effective tool to get you going and on the way.
